As a successful civil litigation attorney with over two decades of experience practicing law, Attorney John Cheeley began at the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance in 1989. While with the University, John Cheeley was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, acted as a Student Judiciary for the Defender-Advocate Society and was a Community Service Volunteer with the on-campus organization, Communiversity. After completing his Undergraduate studies, John Cheeley went on to Georgia State University’s College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1992. While in law school, John Cheeley remained active with organizations on campus, including the Mock Trial society and the Phi Delta Alpha Legal fraternity.

Mr. Cheeley worked for several years with Duluth-based Cheeley & Cheeley, P.C., and Cheeley Firm, P.C., in Buford, Georgia before establishing his own private practice, John P. Cheeley, P.C. in Norcross, Georgia in 1998.
