Kevin Napper, attorney and shareholder at Tampa law firm Carlton Fields, has a long and distinguished history of working closely with the Tampa Bay chapter of the Federal Bar Association, which led him to become the chapter’s president in 2010.  Although he is no longer the acting president of the Tampa Bay chapter, he recalls the time he spent there
fondly.

Mr. Napper’s participation with the chapter first began in 2005 when he became the secretary and member of the executive committee.  From there, Kevin quickly worked his way up the ranks.  From 2006-2007 he served on the board of directors and as the vice president.  His ascension continued the later that year when he acted as the president-elect from 2007-2009.  His diligent work and valued service gained
the highest recognition when he became president, as he filled this role from 2009-2010.  Talking with Kevin, he discusses his participation, first distinguishing between the Florida Bar and the Federal Bar Association.
